It seems we're told, almost daily, how sleep, food, environment, etc. — physical forces — all seem to control of our well-being. That so-called control may seem powerful, and it may also seem that we're without any options to think or feel otherwise.

Wonderfully, we do have options! However, our best source of support may not come from where we expect as it's not positive thinking, mindfulness/Eastern thought, will-power, nor is it anything that we have to drum up. Rather, we can all find our support in God, divine Love, here and now.

Popular thought and religion is often telling us how we have to get help and support outside of ourselves in order to find peace, health, or happiness.

However, the Bible, particularly Jesus' teachings, show that God's divine support is never far away. Rather, divine Love's care can be found directly, quickly, and simply all the time and under every circumstance.

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’[a] For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
—Luke 17:20-21 (NKJV)

Mary Baker Eddy discovered that this Kingdom of God, that which Jesus proved by restoring health and healing sin, isn't miraculous but has a science behind it and can be felt and proven regularly by everyone. In fact, in her book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures Eddy shows that the Kingdom of God, as Jesus taught it, is ever within us and provides constant support to us from God. This divinely provided protection can even be found under diverse and difficult circumstances.

And how do we invoke the supportive power of the Kingdom of God? Well it's already there — but to see God's grace in action, we need to simply, and humbly, acknowledge that the presence of God, Spirit, is ever-present with us, now. Here are 3 simple facts we can learn to acknowledge more and more, day by day:

  1. God's Kingdom is a permanent and eternal established fact within each of us.
  2. This kingdom within is God's grace and blessing given to us unconditionally.
  3. God's loving activity and grace is working within us, and on our behalf, at all times.

What is more, God instilled in you and me the ability to know and understand God's goodness directly through spiritual sense. This spiritual sense enables us to know we're ever with God and forever safe under His protection and power. This spiritual understanding helps us fathom the fact that there's never a moment we can be outside of God's care, nor can we be without His protection — no matter where we go or what we experience.

Spirit imparts the understanding which uplifts consciousness and leads into all truth. The Psalmist saith: “The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.” Spiritual sense is the discernment of spiritual good.
